• If there are faults on the building and its installations. For example, power is missing from an electrical outlet, the fume cupboard gives alarm or the sink is clogged. Alternatively, an email can be sent to 8888@sdu.dk with danny@sdu.dk on cc describing the problem, room number and possibly fume cupboard ID.
• By requests for building changes/ extensions. For example, new outlet, point suction or lab conversion. Here, in collaboration with Danny, an application is prepared, which must be approved by the head of department. The task is then prioritised together with the other building plans of science.

Henrik can be contacted regarding:

• Movement/change of furniture, shelves or paintings.

Henrik is contacted regarding (if Henrik is absent and the need is acute, Lars can help):

• Ordering and changing gas cylinders
• Filling liquid nitrogen

Danny is contacted regarding:

• Gas supply failures via fume cupboards and building installations

Danny is contacted regarding:

• HPLC, UV/VIS, MS, CD, power supplies, etc.

Lars is contacted regarding:

• Repair of mechanical parts of appliances
• Changing hoses to water or gas on appliances
• Help with glassware. For example, stuck stoppers in bottle necks.

Henrik is contacted regarding:

• Repair of various electrical appliances, everything from coffee machines to magnetic stirrers, shaker boards, vacuum pumps, centrifuges and more
• Change of oil
• Error messages on the coffee machines in the kitchens

• Special cables for battery testing
• Conversion of equipment. E.g. phased out NMR robot for dipping robot
• Fiber isolated thermo couple amplifier
• Manufacture of electronics based on existing designs

Lars is contacted regarding:

• Development of holder/stoppers/mixing motor/other mechanical to be custom made. An outline of the desired element is a good starting point. The elements can be made of both plastic and metal (e.g. aluminum, stainless steel and brass). For example, holder for centrifuges or glass vials etc.

• Software for transferring data from oscilloscope in physics exercises

When time permits, we have the opportunity to build various equipment for the laboratories. Among other things, holders have been made for flasks, samples and plastic tubes. A holder for 6 x 50 mL centrifuge tubes made on the 3D printer cost approx. DKK 7 for materials.

• Print of various plastic components with 3D-Print. Lars helps with the design and shaping of the subject.
