How to make construction work more sustainable using Big Data
With 27,000 students, 4,000 employees and a large car fleet, SDU's green transport initiatives are set to reduce the University’s overall carbon footprint. However, green transport is about more than just measuring the impact here and now. It’s about a fundamental change in behaviour and about finding lasting solutions through disruptive field tests. Among other things, these initiatives will nudge us into changing motorist behaviour from one driver, one car, to carpooling.

Can we do it differently?
Financial Services has successfully completed the pilot project “Paperless administration”. The overall print consumption of the 65 employees has fallen by 79 per cent in just two years.

New printers: CO2 emissions reduced by 79 per cent
SDU will be replacing its printers in week 7. 276 of the old printers will be replaced by 140 new printers, which are faster, ensure a higher degree of confidentiality and use much less energy.
