By Anne Lieberg, , 2/22/2024

The new campus manager at SDU Kolding has been appointed, and Per Vagn Freytag is set to take over the position as the day-to-day head of SDU Kolding after Marianne Wolff Lundholt.

Campus Dean Simon Møberg Torp says:
- I look forward to working with Per Freytag. He is incredibly experienced and competent and will undoubtedly contribute to the further development of SDU Kolding.

SDU Kolding is undergoing an incredibly exciting development, where we are supplementing our education portfolio with new master's degree programmes at our Faculty of Science, including an MSc in Data-Driven Business Development and an MSc in Data Science.

Simon Møberg Torp also takes the opportunity to thank Marianne Wolff Lundholt:
- I would like to thank Marianne Wolff Lundholt for her outstanding efforts both internally and externally. It has been a great pleasure to work with her.

Big ambitions

The new campus manager, Professor Per Vagn Freytag, is looking forward to working with the various employee groups and students as well as Campus Kolding’s many different excellent external partners:
- A central focal point of my research is business collaboration. Collaboration is also key to success at Campus Kolding. As in a business collaboration, any successful collaboration is all about people. Two key factors in good collaboration are commitment and well-being.
It will be exciting to collaborate with the many committed and talented employees at the two departments in Kolding and those serving in the other functions on campus. We all contribute in different ways to the educational and research activities that take place at Campus Kolding for the benefit of students and the surrounding community.
I look forward to contributing to the many great initiatives already taking place on campus, while also helping to create a foundation for new initiatives for the benefit of students, staff and the surrounding community. Good internal interaction is important to achieve strong results, but strong results are best achieved through active interaction with other educational institutions as well as public and private organisations.
