Barbara Guerra reappointed as Head of the PhD school
The appointment applies for a period of three years.
Once again, Barbara Guerra, BMB, will be Head of the PhD school at Faculty of Science.
The Head of the PhD school is appointed by the Dean, and the appointment applies for a period of three years.
- I am very happy that Barbara will continue as Head of the PhD school. Barbara has been very focused on the students' well-being, not least during the shutdown, which has been particularly difficult for the PhD students, who are often under strong time pressure to complete their PhD project. Barbara has been responsive and found solutions for the students who got into trouble during that period, Dean Marianne Holmer says.
Barbara Guerra looks forward to continuing the work.
- These past three years have been challenging but also full of opportunities to talk with engaged and highly motivated students. I will further develop the activities we have introduced in the past and continue the development of the PhD programme to ensure the best possible conditions for the academic growth of the students, Barbara Guerra says.
Barbara Guerra has been Head of the PhD school since 2020.
