Career inspiration at PhD Day
20 PhD students from the Faculty of Science signed up for PhD Day on 23 November.

The programme included presentations from former PhD students at the Faculty of Science. The speakers are now researchers or leaders at Novo Nordisk, COWI or the Danish Technological Institute. There were also several researchers and professors from SDU among the speakers, including Professor Rolf Fagerberg from the Department og Mathematics and Computer Science and Assistant Professor Jane Morthorst from the Department of Biology.
Heidi Nielsen is the PhD Secretary at the facvulty secretariat and, along with Suba Shanmugarajah, organised this year's PhD Day. She says:
"The day went very well, and many of the participants have reported that they found the content very inspiring. The participants were particularly impressed by how honest the researchers were about their career paths, choices and decisions during their PhD study programme."
