Supervision

Supervision

Lecturers at DBM are expected to supervise students in a diverse range of courses such as projects, seminar papers, internship reports or theses at bachelor and master level. Many of these courses require students to deliver individual papers, but some courses also allow for or even encourage students to work jointly on a subject in teams of 2-3 students.

  • For master theses in particular, you can make use of and refer students to information about the supervision process.
  • Information about the specific assignment and its supervision can be found in the corresponding course description on the Study Programme’s Website or on the general database for course descriptions.
  • When relevant for your time management or the students’ projects, you can choose to offer “group supervision”, where you gather all the students you supervise on a particular course for supervision sessions. Advice on how to do so can be found in the Teaching Tools and Guidelines.
  • The norm hours for supervision assigned to supervision tasks can be found on SDUnet under Practicial info and facilities.
