Vacation Fund Opens on December 1st for Bookings for the High Season 2024 - Important Information about the Lottery
We hope that you've all had a wonderful holiday throughout the year and are ready to look forward to the high season in 2024. We have exciting news to share with you regarding bookings and a change in our allocation system for holiday homes.
Bookings will open on December 1, 2023
We are pleased to announce that booking for the high season in 2024 will open on December 1, 2023. This is your opportunity to plan your next vacation and secure a lovely place to spend your summer months.
Responding to many requests, we are changing the allocation method for the high-season weeks in the summer holidays from a first-come, first-served basis to a lottery:
The lottery will apply to weeks 26 to 32, and you will have the opportunity to request multiple houses and up to 10 periods.
You can submit your requests from December 1 to December 17, 2023, and we will draw the lottery on Monday, December 18. You will be notified immediately after the drawing if you have won.
Other periods will still operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Rules for the lottery:
- All members receive 5 points upon joining the vacation fund.
- If you win the lottery, you will lose 4 points.
- You earn 1 point after each lottery drawing, and you can never have more than 5 points.
- You participate in the lottery with the number of points you have. The more points you have, the greater your chance of winning. However, it may happen that you are drawn even if others have 5 points, if you only have 1 point. The points will determine your priority in the lottery.
This system provides all members with a fair chance to be allocated a holiday home in the high season of 2024 while rewarding loyalty over time.
Make sure to sign up in a timely manner and be ready to participate in the lottery when the booking opens.
