SDU UP

Change of SDU UP’s organisational structure as of 1 January 2024

SDU UP (SDU Centre for Teaching and Learning) supports the development of teaching, learning and testing methods, including e-learning and digital exams. SDU UP is currently organisationally anchored at the Faculty of Humanities.

As a consequence of the master’s degree reform, SDU must change part of its education portfolio to focus more on education and learning for people in employment. At the same time, there will be more international students in the future and a greater focus on supervision and feedback. These changes affect the direct interaction between students and teachers, thus entail a need for support of lecturers in terms of both teaching development and their own skills development.

Today, the utilisation of SDU UP’s services varies greatly across the University’s five faculties. The Rectorate has assessed that a change in organisational location and a renewed mandate can contribute to SDU UP’s services becoming more widespread at the University.

The Rectorate has therefore decided that as of 1 January 2024, SDU UP will be organisationally relocated from HUM to the Central Administration. The head of SDU UP will therefore report to the Pro-Rector.
