Abolition of Store Bededag as a public holiday (updated)
In connection with the collective bargaining negotiations in the state sector, it has been agreed that compensation for the removal of Store Bededag as a public holiday will be included in the special holiday allowance
It means that the special holiday allowance, will increase from 1.5 % to 2.02 % with effect from April 1, 2024.
Consequently, the payment of salary supplements under Act No. 214 of March 6, 2023 (Act on the consequences of abolishing Store Bededag as a public holiday) will cease. SDU HR is awaiting the final agreement from the parties to the collective agreements.
