As a young researcher you can get support for fundraising. Ask your local research support unit or the central research support at SDU RIO.Researchers from SDU can get help both from the faculty researcher support as well as the central research support.

Research support services for PhDs and Postdocs

We assist SDU PhD students and postdoctoral researchers with all stages of fundraising, from locating the proper calls to understanding the guidelines and preparing the application. Our resources are prioritized to researchers coming to or staying at SDU.

Furthermore, a list of types of grants for PhDs and Post docs are provided (link to list below) We rarely offer tailored support to people going abroad but focus instead on attracting people to SDU. It could be through the Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship call or calls offered by Danish foundations. If you are interested in applying for external funding as a PhD or postdoc, we recommend that you contact your head of section and/or supervisor to discuss your opportunities.
