Scopus

Scopus is an abstract and citation database of peer – reviewed research literature. It is one of the two largest general research databases, Web of Science being the other.

It can be used by students, authors, researchers, research managers etc. for literature searches and research evaluations.

Resources include peer-reviewed journals, open access journals , conference proceedings,  trade publications,  book series amongst others. It covers the areas of literature in science, medicine, engineering and the social sciences and arts and Humanities with varying coverage within different disciplines.

Scopus generates citation results and automatically updated researcher profiles with selected bibliometric metrics. QS World University Ranking and Times Higher Education World University Ranking, which are strategically important rankings for SDU, are based on Scopus data.

SDU has a subscription to Scopus. SDU Analytics does not provide support on the use of Scopus. Should the need for support arise then it is possible to contact Scopus directly in the top right corner of the system.

Access to the system can happen through SDU Library’s database overview. See link to the right.
