Searching for a person at SDU above the numeric keypad
In the box, type the name or number of the person you want to contact.
Note: You cannot see whether the person is busy or available.
Once the person is found, click once more to view the available/busy status.
Enter the phone number or find the person by using the search field above the numeric keypad.
Searching for a person in the header bar
Enter the name or phone number of your colleague.
The page changes to the ‘Chat’ page, which lists recent chats. There is a receiver on the right-hand side.

CTRL+E: Moves the cursor to the search box at the top
Type '/' to view a list of all commands
Example: ‘ / call’ (UK)
Type ‘space’ and select a person or enter part of their name. Use the arrow keys if multiple names are displayed.
Mac

Placing calls to Competella
If you wish to call the switchboard or Servicedesk, please enter the telephone number.
If you make a search, please select the one with the black icon.
Ringtone – when you receive a call
- Click on ’...’ in the upper right corner, to the left of your profile picture
- Select "Settings"
- Devices
Typically, your headset will have Speaker and Mic as default, but you can choose to have the ringtone go through your computer, if you want.
If you scroll further down, you may make incoming phone calls ring on both headset and e.g. speakers.
