You and others can co-edit a document in SharePoint. To do this, all co-editor of the document must be able to use Word Online. This simply requires a Microsoft licence from all parties. If you are employed at SDU, you automatically have this licence.
When co-editing the document, you will be able to clearly see who is editing and where.
The document is automatically saved by the last person to close it after you have all edited it. No further action is required.
