Furniture and equipment in offices

Technical Service supplies and sets up furniture and equipment in offices.

Standard furniture in an office includes:

  • A desk with raising/lowering function in the size 160 or 180 cm in width.
  • An adjustable office chair with padding on the seat and back.
  • A drawer darium.
  • A whiteboard in the size 100 x 120 cm.
  • A notice board in the size 100 x 120 cm.
  • A desk lamp.
  • An 8 or 9 room bookcase in a width of 120 cm.

Technical Service stores used inventory for later use. As a starting point, deliveries are always made from second-hand warehouses, where it is possible to display them.

If fixtures from second-hand stock cannot be used, it is possible to order new ones.

It is possible to see current items in the second-hand warehouse via Brugtvarebørsen in SDU's purchasing system.

Furniture and fixtures can be ordered by contacting 8888@sdu.dk. If new equipment is to be ordered, the order must be in the hands of Technical Service no later than 4 weeks before it is to be used due to delivery time at the supplier.

If you have furniture or equipment that you no longer need, you can contact Technical Services at  8888@sdu.dk. 
In your email, you must describe the furniture/equipment. If possible, please attach a photo. Please also state the number of the office/room where it is to be picked up. If the furniture/equipment is not located in a room, please state the number of the nearest room. 
Technical Services will assess whether it should be put on SDU’s commodity exchange, auctioned off or sorted as waste.
