Evaluation strategy

The conducting of any extraordinary ad hoc evaluations can take place at the request of the Study Board. In these cases, the form of the evaluation depends on the circumstances that give rise to the evaluation.

A mid-term evaluation, which can be oral, electronic or via class representatives. In connection with the mid-term evaluations, the lecturer in a subject must briefly notify the Study Board that the evaluation has been carried out, as well as if there are things to note. It is up to the individual lecturer whether the mid-term evaluation is anonymous.

All offered subjects with the exception of Project Week, SDG course and BA seminar are mid-term evaluated.

Final evaluations are written and anonymous. An overview of the questions in the evaluations can be found further down the page.

All offered subjects are evaluated at the end of the course.

The Study Board processes the results of the evaluations twice a year, cf. the annual cycle, and in connection with the status meetings for the Educational Report.

The results of the evaluations are published via the reporting form for the evaluation of education programmes.

The Study Board’s evaluation strategy is discussed at least once a year, cf. the annual cycle.

To ensure a high response rate, it is the Study Board’s wish that time is allocated during the course to evaluate any subject, as well as for the lecturers to report back to the students about the evaluations. It must also be stated in the course plans of the subjects when evaluations and lecturers’ feedback on these will take place.
The feedback to the students takes place through a report in accordance with the faculty’s guidelines. In addition, the lecturer’s feedback to the students provides an opportunity for the lecturer to inform the students how he or she may want to adjust or consider adjusting a course on the basis of the students’ evaluation answers.
