(Previously held session) Information meeting on the opportunities in the European Research Council for hospital-based researchers

When: September  11th at 13.00-15.00

What:
The purpose of the information meeting is to focus on the opportunities that ERC offers elite researchers who do research in hospitals. The ERC offers grants of five years for projects that the researchers themselves define - i.e. free funds. The ERC is part of the EU's framework program for research and innovation, Horizon Europe.

At the meeting, various speakers will talk about several aspects of the ERC and the advantageous grants that the ERC offers. Initially, there will be introductory presentations from two members of ERC's Scientific Council as well as the deputy director of the Danish Agency for Education and Research.
This is followed by a presentation from ERC's Agency on hospital-based research. In conclusion, there will be an inspiring case with a presentation from a clinical researcher who has had good success in applying for and getting grants from the ERC and is the recipient of two ERC grants.

There will be opportunities  to ask questions to the presenters.
