It is possible to install the Teams App on your mobile phone, so that you can continue working via the phone. The menu that is usually placed to the left, is now at the bottom of the screen.
If you need to access the menu, click the ‘More’ icon that is symbolized by ‘…’ (three dots).

In the bottom menu, press '...'.There are many programs. Choose e.g."Viva Insights" + the gear icon and set up your work week.
Activity:Here you can see missed calls, voicemail messages etc.
Chat: Find all written chats (search at the top)
Teams: Your overview of the Teams collaborations you are part of at SDU
Tasks: View assigned tasks
Calendar: Your personal calendar – from here, you can participate in meetings
...(menu with multiple options)If you need to install the software for your Busylight, you will be able to find the software in ‘Software Center’.
For a Windows device the options will look like this – choose the one for Microsoft Teams.
Software Center
Search for ‘Software Center’ (Windows) or ‘MacSDU Software Center’ on your computer and click on it. When you have done so, search then for Busylight and download the software that suits Microsoft Teams and install it.
When you have installed it on your computer, you might meet the following picture.
If you do so, please click on ‘Settings’ and check off the ‘Register Teams as the chat app…’ and restart your Office-apps.
Try to call a colleague to test if your busylight work.
Busylight and "call queue" in Teams
In Busylight, you must set a "tick" if you want it to make a sound when calling telephone queues.
What is important for you to check?
What brand is your headset?
Start the App ’Microsoft Teams’ on your computer and click on the icon that looks like a phone. You will be able to see what brand your headset is there.
Install the software
Follow the guide for the brand that your headset is from below here. The software must be installed whether you use wired or a not wired headset. If you use a different brand than the once showed below, please contact us on servicedesk@sdu.dk.
First, go to ’Software Center’ on your device
- To find ‘Software Center’ on your computer, then search for ‘Software’ and click on ‘Software Center’.
- Search for the software that suits your headset (check the list below here and please follow the steps described there)
Plantronics
Install the software ’Plantronics’ from Software Center. When the software is installed, please open it and click on ‘Meddelelser/ Messages’ in the menu to see whether there’s more updates that needs to be installed.
Jabra
Install the software ’Jabra Xpress’ from Software Center. Open the software ‘Jabra Direct’ to check if there’s any more updates (in the menu on the left).
Sennheiser
Install the software ’EPOS’ from the ’Software Center’.
Bose
To install the software for your Bose headset, please follow the instructions below.
Go to Bose's homepage and download the software
Now, you can install the Bose updater.
A small guide appears on the website when you have clicked on ’Download’. Follow this guide to update your headset.
The headset must be connected to the USB cable (the same cable used to charge the headset).
The update takes approx. 5 minutes.
