The New Health Building

Change in the relocation time for selected laboratory units

The timing of the relocation to New SUND is adjusted for selected laboratories. The adjustment is made in part to minimize double operation.

After discussions with department heads and the Vice-Dean regarding the coordination of laboratory unit relocations, Technical Services has modified the relocation schedules for several of them.

This initiative is driven, in part, by a desire to minimize the extent of double operations.

The affected units are:

  • Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacy, and Environmental Medicine
  • Phase IV Unit
  • KMEB
  • Orthopedic Surgery
  • DCA
  • KCB

The Updated Schedule

The relocations, originally planned to take place from September 13th to mid-October, now fall within the adjusted timeline from November 13th onwards.

This means that they will either occur just before the relocation of IMM's research units begins or simultaneously with them.

In the same context, we have also chosen to adjust the relocations of SDU IT and IMM Workshop, as their presence will be required in WP for a longer period to support the research units.

You can find the updated schedule here.

What Happens Next?

As with previous schedule adjustments, there will be an effort to assess consequences and restructure plans concerning the affected units' relocations.

Technical Services will be available to discuss and coordinate further with the affected units.

In general, Technical Services will handle any questions related to this announcement or other matters concerning the move to New SUND through 8866@sdu.dk.
