Allocation of spaces in the building is now finally determined
The allocation of spaces in the new HEALTH-building has been revised and is now finally determined. See where the individual institutes and units will be located when we move to the new faculty building from May 2023.
In close collaboration with institute directors, the head of the secretariat, and the deputy dean, the allocation of space in the new HEALTH building has been revised, resulting in the final floor plan being in place for the move in May 2023.
The floor plan shows how offices and workplaces in the building are divided among the faculty's different institutes and units, and which areas they each have control over.
However, it is important to be aware that this allocation and control does not change the new HEALTH office culture, which requires that we share facilities.
We share coffee and office spaces
This means that everyone has access to bookable project rooms, as well as being able to use the "hot desks" in the open areas of the office corridors, regardless of their affiliation.
This is according to program and project manager Anne Kathrine Overgaard.
- This also means that there are no private office spaces in principle. All office spaces must be accessible to everyone so that spaces are not left empty while a colleague is looking for a place to work, she explains.
- In addition, tea kitchens and meeting rooms are also shared facilities, so try the coffee at your neighbor's and have a chat with colleagues you may not see as often, Anne Kathrine Overgaard encourages.
Update on the allocation in 2024
Please note that in 2023-2024, we will only have access to the southern part of OU41. Therefore, the allocation will be updated in the autumn of 2024, when SUND will also have access to the northern part of OU41 at the end of 2024.
