Status on the experiment with new working methods at the faculty

What has happened? What is the status? And what is the next step? Take a look here and get an overview of the pilot project on flexible office and meeting culture, where various work forms have been tested across the Faculty of Health Sciences.

By Bente Kjær, 4/12/2023

In the fall of 2021, we launched a pilot project at the Faculty of Health Sciences in the areas of flexible office culture and meeting culture.

The meeting culture pilot aimed to test meeting types and meeting rooms, while the office culture pilot aimed to test models for flexible work organization and shared use of physical spaces.

The purpose of the pilots was to develop scalable models and tools that could work in practice at the faculty.

The overall framework for the pilot was set centrally, while the individual experiments in the pilot were defined and carried out locally at the institutes and faculty administration.

GET AN OVERVIEW OF THE PILOT PROJECT:

Since the start of the pilot project, experiments have been conducted with different office culture models at the institutes and faculty administration.

The experiments have been followed up with status conversations with relevant leaders.

In addition, inspirational workshops have been held for selected key persons from each institute and the faculty administration.

Last but not least, all employees at the faculty have had the opportunity to respond to a survey on flexible office and meeting culture.

The pilot project has been completed.

Based on the data collected in the pilot project through status conversations, workshops, and surveys, a report has been prepared.

The report summarizes the results of the various local experiments and draws several conclusions based on them.

The results have been presented to the faculty management consisting of the dean, vice-dean, Head of Education and Secretariat, as well as the Head of Departments at the faculty institutes.

You can see the overall results and conclusions from the pilot project here. (Please note that the information is only available in Danish)

Now that the pilot project has been completed and the overall results have been presented, the next step is implementation.

The focus will be on how we can implement a flexible, active, and collaborative workplace based on the central principles of a flexible office and meeting culture.

The process builds on the results from the pilot project - and it starts with the faculty management
