Options for transportation of mail, goods, and samples between OUH and SUND
A solution is now in place for the transportation of mail, goods, and samples between the Faculty of Health Sciences (SUND) and Odense University Hospital (OUH) during the upcoming period of dual operation. This solution is especially relevant for employees utilizing the Biomedical Laboratory.
A group consisting of representatives from the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) and Odense University Hospital (OUH) has recently been working on a plan to ensure the safe transportation of everything from mail to hazardous materials between OUH and the new Faculty of Health Sciences (SUND).
The transportation plan has now been finalized and will be in effect until OUH moves to Campus Odense. The plan also covers the Biomedical Laboratory until they relocate from Winsløwparken to Campusvej 55.
In broad terms, the plan involves the Technical Service, Logistics conducting a daily transport between SUND and OUH. In addition, special transport will be handled by external services, and urgent transport of samples and individuals will be managed by relevant departments themselves.
