Students wish to maintain physical contact with SDU

SDU wishes to meet the clear requests for physical presence which were made by students during the spring semester.

We believe that it is important for the students to stay in close contact with the academic environment at the university, and that physical presence supports both students’ academic compentency and their motivation.

For the teachers, this also means having the option of experiencing a higher degree of interaction and dialogue with the students than the experiences from the spring semester demonstrated possibilities for.

The concept allows for a higher degree of adaptation in which we can start normal teaching in case the restrictions for physical distance are lowered, or roll back the option for physical presence and proceed with online-only teaching if the development requires it.
