Most people experience being involved in a security incident, that is, a breach of data security, at some point. These things happen, but when they do, it is important that breaches are handled as soon as possible, partly for the sake of the data subjects, partly to prevent possible damage to SDU’s business and not least to learn from the incident.

A data/security breach could be, for example, that one employee leaves behind a physical document that contains personal data at a printer or an in exam room.

Therefore, as soon as you become aware of a security breach, you must report this via an online form.
