In the minutes from the faculty management meeting on May 16, you can read about the following:

  • Employment of A-TAP: TR Christian B. Dannevang emphasizes during the hiring and salary negotiations that we must adhere to and not circumvent the rules and local agreement regarding the use of A-TAP. The faculty management decided to hold a meeting with TR Tanja Christensen and TR Christian B. Dannevang regarding the matter.
  • Faculty Gender Equality Report 2022: The faculty's gender equality committee participated in the meeting where the faculty management provided comments on the draft of the gender equality report for 2022.
  • Admission Requirements: The management at SDU has recently discussed future admission requirements for the university's programs. Therefore, the faculty has also started discussions in this area. Read about what the faculty management is taking forward to the rectorate.

In the minutes from the faculty management meeting on May 30th, you can read about the following:

  • Amendment of the Performance and Development Review (MUS) for employed Ph.D. students: The faculty's Ph.D. committee has expressed a desire to amend the MUS for employed Ph.D. students, which the faculty management made a decision on.
  • Evaluation of External Relations Team (ERT): The faculty management decided not to initiate an evaluation of the ERT at present but instead work towards fostering more dialogue.
  • Reporting from the Management Retreat on May 24th-26th: Marianne Holmer provided a report from the management retreat.
  • SDU IT and SDU Digital: Digitalization Manager Bue Andresen and Head of SDU IT Jacob-Steen Madsen participated in the management meeting. The key messages from SDU IT and SDU Digital were as follows:
    • Support for researchers will be consolidated into an IT Research Center starting in the fall. SDU IT will communicate further details about this after the summer.
    • Two IT network meetings were held for VIPs in the NAT (Natural Sciences) faculty.
    • New security measures for mobile devices are being implemented. SDU IT will provide further communication on this after the summer.
    • ChatGPT is being discussed at SDU, and an invitation to a general meeting will be extended for the autumn.
