New digitalisation committee at the Faculty of Science

The faculty's management group has decided to set up a digitalisation committee at the faculty. The purpose of the committee is to coordinate the work with the Faculty of Science's strategy on digitalisation of workflows and processes under People and Organisation.

By Tina Ellehuus Larsen, , 7/8/2021

Niels Kring, head of the Faculty Administration, chairs the new committee, and he believes that the committee will make a great impact on digitalisation in the administrative area:

– The Digitalisation Committee consists of a lot of strong administrators from both the Faculty Administration and the departments. I am confident that together we can help driving the overall administrative digital agenda at the faculty, and thus ensure that workflows and processes at all levels of the organisation are coordinated in the best possible way. In any case, I am very much looking forward to the collaboration and look forward to seeing how much more we can achieve with a more coordinated effort.

The new Digitalisation Committee was constituted on 19 May 2021, and the plan is for the committee to meet every month for a start. The committee consists of:

  • Karin Hjernø, head of secretariat, BMB
  • Mette Søndergaard, head of secretariat, FKF
  • Michael Christensen, degree programme secretary, Biology
  • Søren Sten Hansen, senior consultant for educational development
  • Christian Bilde Dannevang, HR and GDPR
  • Tine H. Kristiansen, head of finances
  • Tina Ellehuus Larsen, PA to the dean
  • Niels Kring, head of the Faculty Administration (chair)

The committee wishes to receive input from and enter into a dialogue with the faculty's employees, so that we work together to realise the strategy in the digital area.
