If you dream of having influence in one of the many councils and bodies at SDU, now’s your chance. The elections at SDU are coming up in November, and from today, 21 October, SDU staff members can put their names forward for election.

  • As academic staff (VIP employee), you can run or vote for the position of VIP representative of your academic council and department council.
  • As a PhD student, you can run or vote for the position of VIP representative of your academic council and department council as well as the position of representative of the PhD students on the PhD committee.
  • As a technical/administrative (TAP) staff member at the faculties, you can stand or vote for the position as TAP representative of your academic council and department council.
  • As a TAP staff member in the Central Administration, you can stand or vote for the position as TAP representative of The University Council.

Please note:  Due to organisational changes at the Faculty of Engineering, where the number of departments is increased from 4 to 5, it will not be possible to have elections for the department council until updated election lists are available.

Do you want to stand as a candidate?

If you want to stand as a candidate, you should go to the electronic candidate list – you will find a guide on the election website. The deadline for nomination of candidates is Monday 9 November at 12:00 noon.

How do I vote?

The election is electronic. The election portal at SDUnet is open from Tuesday 24 November at 9:00 AM until Wednesday 25 November at 7:00 PM.

Log on to the election portal with your username and password for your SDU email account. Verification of your identity is done via WAYF, where you must choose the University of Southern Denmark as your institution.
