Analysis of the educational administration, autumn 2022
Over the next few years, the educational sector will face a number of changes following political reforms in relation to admission and regionalisation, further and continuing education, internationalisation, demographic development with fewer students and a new student administration system.
In order for SDU to be able to meet these challenges, the Rectorate has decided to analyse the University’s current performance of student and educational administrative tasks. The Rectorate will therefore initiate a consultancy analysis to map the educational administration at SDU. Tenders will be sought for the task in the near future.
To keep tabs on the analysis, a steering committee has been set up consisting of University Director Thomas Buchvald Vind, Pro-rector Helle Waagepetersen and Dean Ole Skøtt from the Faculty of Health Sciences.
The analysis will review SDU’s student administration across the Central Administration and faculties (departments and education programmes, respectively), as well as across SDU’s campuses. The analysis is expected to be completed during 2022.
A webpage will be created on SDUnet with ongoing information about the analysis so that all interested parties can track how the work is progressing.
