SDU and OUH launch new flagship centres
Odense University Hospital (OUH) and the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) are launching a new joint initiative, ‘Flagship Centres between OUH and SDU’, which focuses on high-quality research in an equal collaboration between researchers from OUH and SDU. The flagship centres replace what was previously known as elite research centres at OUH.
The first part of the application process for two new elite research centres between SDU and OUH in 2023 has now commenced.
The establishment of the elite research centres at OUH has contributed to SDU and OUH’s ambition to become a leader in several areas of clinical research.
OUH and SDU intend to establish two new joint elite research centres in 2023 which will deliver ambitious, innovative, interdisciplinary and potentially ground-breaking research under the new name: Flagship Centres.
How to apply
The application process consists of two stages.
- Stage 1: Expressions of interest – deadline: 23 March 2023
- Stage 2: Full application (only for proposals progressing from Stage 1) – expected deadline: early September 2023.
