SDU Business School
Week 8: The central administrative track for implementing the new organisation has been initiated
The implementation of SDU Business School and the division into two faculties place significant demands on the timely and systematic preparation of SDU's administrative systems and processes. In particular, Financial Services, SDU HR and SDU IT will be working intensively up to 1 September 2026, while other areas in Central Administration are preparing to support an additional faculty.
The administrative implementation has now been formally initiated in the central administrative track through the administrative leaders. Over the coming weeks, all areas are working to describe the tasks and changes that must be in place by 1 September 2026 – including the interdependencies across the Central Administration.
Financial Services, SDU HR and SDU IT, in particular, face extensive implementation work during the spring. The areas are currently mapping specific tasks, system adjustments, and timelines to ensure a smooth transition. The work includes new account structures, adjustments to system configurations, and access management. In addition, preparations are underway in educational administrative processes, updating web structure and branding, as well as adapting representation in various collaboration and meeting forums.
For the other central administrative areas, the most significant changes will primarily occur after 1 September, when SDU Business School, as the new faculty, becomes part of the daily operations.
