Derived from the ongoing energy and supply situation in Europe, SDU's management has decided to follow the recommendations of the Danish Energy Agency and the Ministry of Education and Research to lower the heating of government buildings to 19 degrees, where it is deemed possible and technically suitable.

Call to save on hot water

The implementation of the previously announced energy-saving measures at SDU has begun. For legal reasons, the decision to turn off the hot water to the taps has been revoked. Therefore, all SDU employees are instead encouraged to limit and preferably avoid using hot water for hand washing.
