Student enquiries at faculty and joint administrative units

Christmas is here, and many SDU employees are taking a well-earned break. Therefore, the opening hours of faculty and joint administrative units that receive enquiries from students may also differ from usual.
Here on the site, we have compiled the opening hours of the most used units and services that students may want to use during the holiday, so you can find information if you need it.

Education
The Faculty’s student counselling will be closed between Christmas and New Year.
Staffing of the Faculty’s degree programme secretarial office at SDU Odense will be greatly reduced during week 52 and December 30 and 31.

The Faculty’s student counselling will be closed December 20 until January 4 (both days inclusive).

The Student Guidance Office at Social Sciences, which handles inquiries from students enrolled at SDU Odense regarding guidance, teaching, exams, and study board case processing, will be open for all types of inquiries until Monday, December 22, 2025, and will reopen on Friday, January 2, 2026, during the usual opening hours from 10:00–14:00.
During the Christmas period, we will respond to (urgent) written inquiries about exams via SPOC, though with extended response times, while the study boards will be closed from December 20, 2025 to January 4, 2026.

HEALTH Education will have reduced staffing between Christmas and New Year, and some inquiries may be so specific that you may be asked to wait for a response until the relevant staff member returns from holiday.

TEK Educational Coordination and Support will be closed during week 52 and most of week 1. We will be back on January 2, when the relevant staff will respond to inquiries as soon as possible after returning from the Christmas holidays.

The phone lines are open on all weekdays from 10:00 to 12:00. Due to reduced staffing, there may also be longer response times for emails and SPOC inquiries.
Week 1:
29–30 December: Limited response to emails and SPOC inquiries, no phone service.
2 January: Phone lines open from 10:00 to 12:00.
Urgent inquiries via email will be handled. Please expect longer response times for other inquiries.
