Studielivet’s birthday is coming up and offers summer holiday entertainment

The popular podcast helps to start conversations, including about difficult matters

During the summer break, Studielivet will be offering a number of specials. These will differ structurally from the regular episodes in that they will focus on a person rather than a single topic. That’s because during the break, the podcast will be paying some of the most prominent researchers at SDU a visit to learn more about their student days and get some pointers for current students.
You can look forward to learning how, among others, Anne Marie Mai, Philippe Grandjean and Sten Schaumburg-Müller experienced being a student – and who knows, they might share some funny anecdotes with us. So if you’re in need of some entertainment for those hot summer days ahead, you can find Studielivet on your podcast player or here

Podcasting for two semesters

Since September 2021, the Studielivet podcast has been broadcast for the benefit and joy of students at SDU and other interested listeners. But although the podcast’s first birthday is just around the corner, it’s by no means dead or done.
In March, new hosts joined the podcast when Iben Kudsk Jørgensen, who started the podcast, went on maternity leave and was replaced by Mette Kvist and Mikkel Storm Sørensen. Therefore, the podcast now has two hosts, but the concept hasn’t changed: Talking to students, experts or debaters with insight into the study-related topics featured on the podcast.
The podcast seeks to spark conversations and normalise the challenges that are part of student life, but some students may find difficult to talk about. Accordingly, some of the topics addressed on the podcast have included exam fear, study doubts, thesis anxiety and cheating in exams. All topics are treated with a guidance professionalism that enables the students to translate them into concrete actions.

Studielivet is also on Instagram

Studielivet isn’t just a podcast – you can also follow it on Instagram. Its Instagram page regularly features relevant posts and stories that delve even deeper into the topics that the podcast deals with. Stay tuned at Instagram.
