Knowledge about generative AI

Viden.ai (in Danish)

Viden.ai is run and developed by Per Størup Lauridsen, MSc in IT and IT pedagogical employee, and Claus Scheuer-Larsen, associate professor and IT manager. They are affiliated with Odense Technical College and run the site in parallel to this in view of their interest in technology.
All materials and news items that are issued can be accessed from multiple levels of the education sector. The site contains research, reviews of various generative AI products, as well as considerations about their use and ethical issues in education – in both teaching and exams.
The site is divided into an open area that everyone can access and a closed area for members. The open area is for general writing about different examples of AI used in education, without going into depth about the technical aspects. It is, however, reserved for members of the site. It is free to become a member, but you are advised not to share content with students.

SIG for how informatics relates to other subjects

It-vest has established a number of special interest groups (SIGs) focusing on how computational methods as a new language – a new cultural technology – can renew (the teaching of) subjects.

The groups are open to educators, researchers and other interested parties from all levels of education, regardless of whether their main interest lies in primary, secondary or higher education and regardless of the participant’s professional background.
Webinar series – there will be cross-disciplinary webinars on generative AI and education starting on 4 October 2023. Find info in the right-hand column on the It-vest website.
