How we support academic environments and students

Get an overview of how SDU RIO can support your academic environment and your students in educating attractive and value-creating graduates with a strong understanding of relevance.

Attractive graduates with a strong understanding of relevance

SDU has a clear ambition to educate attractive and value-creating graduates. At SDU RIO, we work purposefully to support this ambition. We believe that a strong understanding of relevance is key to creating graduates who can apply their expertise to create value in both private companies and public organizations.

To achieve this, we focus on three key areas:

  • Close connection between student life and work life
  • Increased practical experience in teaching
  • Strengthened collaboration with the business community

These focus areas help our students understand and apply their expertise in practice, which not only makes them academically proficient and more attractive to the business community but also reduces dropout rates and increases their motivation and well-being.At SDU RIO, we offer a range of targeted initiatives and services developed in close collaboration with SDU's five faculties. They are described below.

At the bottom of the page, we have also described our general offerings, which all SDU students have access to across cities and nationalities.

Targeted initiatives at the faculties and in the cities

The vast majority of our time is spent delivering targeted initiatives to SDU's five faculties and in the campus cities.

We develop and manage the targeted initiatives in agreement with the faculty managements, ensuring that we use our resources in the best possible way.

Regular offerings for SDU students in all cities

At RIO, we run SDU's central career guidance as well as SDU Startup Station, both of which are aimed at all SDU students. We are present on all campuses with students and cater to both Danish and international students.
