Doctoral Defence Peter Thaler

The Faculty of Humanities at the University of Southern Denmark hereby announces Peter Thaler's doctoral defence (dr.phil.).
The defence will take place on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 10.00 a.m. at Campusvej 55, 5230 Odense M in room U43.
The defence will be conducted in English.

Peter Thaler's doctoral dissertation is titled ”Beyond Habsburg: Resisting the Dynasty in Counterreformation Austria”.
The dissertation is available at: Dept. of History, Campusvej 55, 5230 Odense M, Att. Annette Grønbæk, e-mail groenbaek@sdu.dk.

Any unofficial opponents must report to the leader of the doctoral defence prior to the start of the defence.
The doctoral dissertation has been assessed by a committee comprising: Professor emeritus Knud J.V. Jespersen, SDU, Professor Dr. Lothar Höbelt, Universität Wien and Privatdozent Dr. Astrid von Schlachta, Universität Regensburg
Lothar Höbelt and Astrid von Schlachta will be the official opponents on the day.

The defence will be conducted publicly.
