Among the first collections available are fully digitised books from the library of Herlufsholm School, reproductions of 18th- and 19th-century maps from Fyens Stiftsbibliotek, and a selection of photographs from the library’s jazz collections.
“It is very rewarding to be able to bring more of the library’s older materials into use for the benefit of our users. And this is only the beginning. We have a wealth of material that deserves to be seen and used,” says Mogens Kragsig Jensen, historian and team leader for Special Collections.
The selection will continue to grow as more material from the special collections is digitised and made available.
