Q&A: Outdoor Furniture at SUND
Are you also missing more furniture in the outdoor areas at SUND? If so, you'll be pleased with the answer in this week's Q&A.
Every day, I am delighted to come to work in the beautiful surroundings we have in the new SUND building on the Odense campus. Now that spring has arrived, there are so many lovely outdoor spaces and courtyards. Wonderful. I would like to know if there are any plans for more outdoor furniture, for example, in the large courtyard in front of the auditoriums, so there are seats for more of us who enjoy having lunch outside with colleagues?

Thank you for your inquiry. It is great to hear that you are enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the new SUND building on the Odense campus and that you and your colleagues are making use of the various outdoor spaces.
Your idea of having more outdoor furniture, especially in the courtyard in front of the auditoriums, makes perfect sense. Therefore, we have forwarded your question to Technical Services, who inform us that they are currently in the process of acquiring more furniture.
To make the recreational areas even better, they have ordered more furniture that matches the existing ones, so everything looks neat and cohesive. There will be an extra set of furniture for each terrace and four new sets in the courtyard in front of the auditoriums.
The new furniture is expected to be delivered and set up within the next 4-6 weeks.
We hope the new furniture will provide space for even more people to enjoy their lunch outdoors.
