The Region of Southern Denmark's research grants are now open for applications
Are you interested in applying for research funding? The Region of Southern Denmark has just opened applications for four of its research grant programs.
You can now apply for funding from the following research grants:
- PhD Grant
- Clinical Research Career Grant
- Health Services Research Grant
- Personalized Medicine Grant
The deadline to submit your application is Monday, August 25.

Grant Changes Coming in 2026
The region is finalizing a new research strategy, which may involve changes to the structure of the grant programs. These changes must be approved politically and funded through the autumn budget negotiations, so it is currently uncertain when the grants will be announced in 2026.
If you are considering applying for funding, the region recommends that you apply now.
