Working hours agreement for teaching and consultation response to SUND’s education strategy among topics at the Liaison Committee meeting at SUND on 25 March 2025.
The Liaison Committee (SU) at the Faculty of Health Sciences (SUND) ensures that employees have influence over working conditions, collaboration, and strategic decisions. Below is an overview of the key points from the Liaison Committee meeting at SUND on March 25, 2025.
Discussions
New working hours agreement for teaching
Lars Elbæk (LE) presented a draft of a new working hours agreement intended to support the FREJA system and ensure a transparent and realistic distribution of tasks.
The agreement was thoroughly discussed in the Liaison Committee, where several members pointed out that it was too detailed and might not accommodate the needs of different departments – especially for staff with few teaching obligations. While there was broad agreement on the need for clear guidelines, there was also a call for flexibility. The agreement is now being revised based on input from the Liaison Committee.
Consultation response to SUND’s education strategy
The discussion of the consultation response to SUND’s education strategy was postponed until the next meeting. Members of the Liaison Committee were encouraged to submit written comments to the secretariat with a view to compiling a joint response.
Updates
Management structure at the Department of Clinical Research (KI)
Rikke Leth-Larsen (RLL) provided an update on planned organisational changes at KI, including the intention to appoint a new Deputy Head of Department and expand the department council. Work is continuing to enhance the visibility of the management.
Psychological support scheme for staff
Christian Bilde Dannevang (CBD) reminded the committee about SDU’s psychological support scheme and encouraged staff to make use of the service.
