SDU RIO (SDU Research & Innovation Organisation) was established in 2016 and supports the interaction between research, education, business and the public sector. The department works with, among other things:

• entrepreneurship and business development
• outreach business contact
• research support
• contract law

OUH-KFIU (Department for Quality, Research Innovation and Education: The innovation unit in KFIU participates in the development, testing and evaluation of technological solutions, and ensures solid research and documentation in all areas of the technology and process

OUH Research Service (in the Accounting Department) provides help for, among other things:

• Advice on and assistance with the budgeting of research projects prior to application
• Guidance on the financial administration of the projects
• Administration of research funds on research accounts
• Bookkeeping and financial follow-up
• Preparation of accounts for the individual research accounts, cf. the guidelines that the grantor has drawn up for the grant itself
