As a parent, you are entitled to two care days per child per year, until the year in which your child turns 7 years old. The care days must be used within one calender year and cannot be transferred.

When you become a parent, you must inform your local HR officer to secure your rightful care days.

Child care days must be registered in HCM in the same way as all other absences.

This means that you must agree with your line manager on when take your child care days, after which you enter them into HCM.

If you are on flexitime, you must also register your child care days in the flexitime system.
