ESDH system
SDU’s new ESDH system, WorkZone, goes live in March 2024
Until now, the ESDH of the Future programme had aimed to put WorkZone into service on 1 December 2023. However, with a new anticipated operational date of 4 March 2024, a smoother transition from the current ESDH system, Acadre, to WorkZone is ensured.
WorkZone introduces a digital platform that forms the basis for a comprehensive transformation of SDU's ESDH application. This shift emphasises improvements to process support, knowledge sharing and promoting collaboration across the organisation, as well as strengthening business use of data.
The new operational start date enables full functionality at the start of operations, as all integrations and data are expected to have been incorporated into the new ESDH system during the transition from Acadre.
The upcoming implementation has been significantly strengthened thanks to the extensive testing and preparations carried out by our partners in ESDH of the Future. This includes the dedication of the programme's core group with key members from all main areas, the ESDH administration and the lawyers from SDU RIO. This joint effort positions us considerably better to face the challenges of the forthcoming start of operations.
Superusers have been appointed
In preparation for the upcoming implementation of WorkZone, the superusers from across the organisation have been appointed.
A superuser is a specifically designated employee from the organisation who has in-depth knowledge of the business area and the practical use of an IT system. The superuser therefore has a good understanding of the interaction between business processes and system support.
