To you as a scientist / researcher

Scientist walks around in research lab

As a scientist at the SDU, the OUH or within Psychiatry in the Region of Southern Denmark, you may apply for internal research funding – the so-called "Discovery funds" via the Danish Transnational Hub (DTH) which is coordinated by SDU RIO.

You must have the drive to act and also to acknowledge the need for involving more professional competency in your research (interdisciplinarity). You must argue for patient involvement, systemic understanding, implementation and effect for patients as well as for the healthcare system (translational research).

The aim of DTH is that research in a multidisciplinary perspective has a greater impact on patients, the healthcare system and socio-economics.

Have you considered co-working with researchers and other collaborators with a completely different background than your own? This could, for example, be clinicians, economists, psychologists, engineers, anthropologists. In fact, almost only your imagination will set the limits.

As a scientist, we expect that you with your research set sky-high ambitions for patients, the healthcare system on behalf of society society in order to gain access to the so-called "discovery funds". In return, we will help you along the way.

How you become part of the professional evolution and instructive environment sustained by Danish Translational Hub (DTH) and get access to Discovery Funds – we will describe that in the following.
