Advice on Application writing

There are a number of steps and considerations to take into account before applying for funding. When you are ready to apply for funding, we can assist you along the way from the first draft to the final application. We will aim at hosting information session well in advance of highly prioritized calls. Below you can find an example of a typical application process.

Here are some tools you can use when screening the funding landscape.

We would be happy to assist with in-depth screening of the call text and finding previous funded projects. This will hint if a certain call is suitable for you.

 

For EU global challenge calls, we can help you identify consortium partners, both if you are applying as a coordinator or aiming to become a partner.

 

Consider attending internal SDU courses, amongst other the one on writing good proposals.

The Faculty of Science has a fixed procedure for getting your budget approved when applying.

For your ease, we have collected a number of templates and forms. Please fill out the missing sections in the scaffold for "letter of support" before sending to your Head of Department.

We are happy to give you feedback on your application, whether you want evaluation of the structure, content, language or if you simply meet the requirements of the given foundation. We can assist with the graphics and scaffolds for figures depicting the management for large projects/centers.

For large grants, we can setup peer-review of your application if you are finished at least two weeks before the deadline. Don't hesitate to reach out to us if you want to learn more about this option.
