A common procedure has been established in a collaboration between the PhD schools and SDUB for the submission, storage and e-publication of dissertations at the University of Southern Denmark.
PhD dissertations which have been accepted for defence will be generally be made accessible to the public via SDU’s Research Portal within a reasonable period of time before the defence.
If publication of a dissertation via SDU’s Research Portal is not permitted, it must be published in print within a reasonable period of time before the defence, according to the government order on PhD degrees § 19, subsection 2.
Accordingly, SDUB will print a copy of the thesis and make it available for restricted use in the library (effective from 1/11/2022).
