Below you will find an overview of where your data registered in Pure are displayed, to which third parties’ they are shared as well as our deletion policy.
Metadata regarding your research related publications and activities are registered in Pure. These metadata are generally displayed publicly and harvested by third parties in several different contexts in order for the university to comply with governmental obligations.
Notice, that as an employee at SDU you are required to register all your research publications developed at SDU in SDUs Pure.

If you have registered your ORCID in Pure and authorized Pure to transfer your data to ORCID, the following will be transferred:

Data deletion policy
All content registrations added to your Pure profile (publications, activities, press/media etc.) are retained for as long as SDUs Pure system continues to be utilized.
The following personal data are retained on your Pure profile in perpetuity.
- Your name
- Your organizational affiliations
- The period of your affiliations
- Your Researcher IDs.
These data are retained by necessity, to uphold the basic functionality of SDUs Pure and for the university to comply with governmental obligations. All other personal data on your Pure profile is deleted from Pure approximately 1 year after your affiliation to SDU has ended.
