eSIM
We’re switching to eSIM on our mobile plans
Going forward, SDU IT will distribute eSIM cards instead of the traditional physical SIM cards.
Specifically, this means that you no longer need to pick up your physical SIM card at one of our Service Desks. Instead, to speed up the delivery time, your eSIM will be emailed directly to you.
You can still get a physical SIM card if your device does not support eSIM. Simply state this in your order.
This change only applies to SIM cards for telephony. Data SIM cards will still be physical unless otherwise specified in your order.
