New procedure for forced password change in the event of an insecure password

In our efforts to maintain high security on our systems, we have revised our procedure for forced password changes if your password is determined to be insecure.
 
If you have an insecure password, you will receive an email with a notification that you must change your password. You will be given an appropriate time frame to update it. If you exceed the deadline, the system will automatically ask you to change your password on next login.
 
The advantages of the new method are that we avoid a complete blocking of access, which means less inconvenience for you – and you can choose whenever you want to change your password within the deadline.
