Science Education Hub invites you to a lunch event on the role of AI in teaching at the Faculty of Science.

As a teacher, you may be wondering

• whether you should encourage students to use AI tools
• which tools are appropriate - and in which contexts
• how AI can support students in their learning activities, and where it has its limitations

Perhaps you already have experiences - good or bad - with integrating AI into your courses.
This event is an opportunity to share, reflect and learn together.

We will begin with presentations from two colleagues who bring valuable perspectives on AI in teaching:
Maiken Westen Holm Svendsen, scientific assistant at FNUG, and Lukas Galke Poech, assistant professor, Data Science.

After the presentations, there will be an open discussion among all participants and a mini-workshop.

Together, we will identify themes and ideas for a future series of meetings and collaboration on teaching with AI.

Target group: Primarily lecturers at the Faculty of Science, but all employees, students, researchers and others with an interest in AI in education are welcome.
