At SDU Business School, the Liaison Committee and the Health and Safety Committee have been merged into a single joint committee. The purpose of this merger is to create a closer connection between well-being, the work environment, and strategic decisions in the workplace.
The joint committee handles the responsibilities of both areas:
- The Liaison Committee: Ensures constructive dialogue and co-determination between management and employees. The committee discusses matters related to HR policy, well-being, finances, strategy, and major organizational changes at the faculty.
- The Health and Safety Committee: Focuses on both the physical and psychological working environment. The committee works strategically to prevent work environment risks, plan workplace assessments (APV), and ensure a healthy and safe work environment for everyone.
The Health and Safety Committee supports the General Occupational Health and Safety Committee’s overall management and coordination of SDU’s health and safety work.
By merging the two committees, we ensure shorter paths from thought to action and a holistic approach where employee influence and the work environment are integrated into everything we do.
The committee meets at least four times a year.
